Throughout 2015, the Meridian Parks and Recreation staff has been working to develop and refine a Parks and Recreation Master Plan which will help guide the direction, growth and delivery of its services over the next ten years.
This effort has been accomplished through feedback from Meridian City Council, the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission, a citizen task force and community stakeholders, the results from a survey of Meridian residents, and guidance from professional parks and recreation consultants from a Colorado-based firm named GreenPlay LLC.
Because we want the new plan to accurately reflect the needs and desires of residents, we welcome your review of this document as it nears completion, along with any additional comments, questions, or suggestions you may have. If you wish to submit input regarding this draft plan, please e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 5:00 pm. Please note that this is a WORKING DRAFT.
Once final input has been considered and any necessary revisions made, the completed Parks and Recreation Master Plan will be presented by GreenPlay to the Meridian City Council for approval at its December 8th meeting.
