Fivemile Creek Pathway Open House

Date:   Tuesday, September 14, 2010

Time:   6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Place:  Meridian City Hall

           33 E. Broadway Avenue

The City of Meridian has designed a new pathway.  The proposed Fivemile Creek Pathway will parallel the creek from Fairview Avenue to Pine Avenue.  The project will increase mobility and provide recreational opportunities for you and your neighbors.

We need your input on this proposed pathway project. At the Open House, City staff and the design team will have the final design on display and be available to listen to your suggestions and answer any questions you may have.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Centennial Park Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony & Dedication

Help us celebrate this ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Centennial Park featuring Mayor De Weerd and Councilman Zaremba, as we dedicate the newly-installed amenities, including the Neos 360 electronic play structure, picnic shelter, gaming table, drinking fountain, and bicycle rack.  Light refreshments will be served.  Click the flyer for more details.  We hope to see you there!

 

Please note:  The new 20' x 20' picnic shelter with a capacity of 30 and a time block from 12-9 p.m. will be open to the public for reservations starting Saturday, August 21st.

Bark Park Extended Summer 2010 Days:

The Meridian Bark Park will be open to the public Wednesday - Monday (closed Tuesdays for site maintenance and K-9 training), August 2 - September 30.

Effective October 1, we will resume winter hours:  open Friday - Monday (closed Tuesday - Thursday).
