How to Become a Meridian's Promise Partner
 
 
 
Who Can Become a Meridian's Promise Partner?
 
Any individual or organization (business, school, church, clubs, civic organizations, etc.) who offers Meridian's youth one or more of the Five Promises can become a Meridian's Promise Partner. The cost is only $50 per year and you or your organization will be recognized with a plaque and little red wagon (the symbol of America's Promise) to display as a show of your support for Meridian's youth.
 
 
Benefits of Becoming a Meridian's Promise Partner:

1. You are affiliated with a national Alliance for Youth based on shared beliefs, principles and aspirations.

2. You will make a demonstrable impact on children and youth.

3. You will receive recognition, publicity and credibility for your efforts for children and youth.

4. You become a part of effective local community collaborations that amplify and compliment the youth initiatives of our   partners.

5. You gain access to a range of resources that facilitate delivery of the Five Promises including tools, training and consultation from the Meridian’s Promise staff. 

 
What is Expected of a Meridian's Promise Partner?
 
Just keep doing what you do best!

1. Continue in your commitment to promote and implement the Five Promises to Youth.

2. Support and participate in local collaborative efforts to bring the Five Promises to youth and children.

3. Promote Meridian’s Promise to others. Make ours a visible impact on the community.

4. Take a stand on issues that are critical to children and youth.

5. Set high goals and measure your progress.

6. Make sure your organization is “kid safe” and “kid friendly”.
 
7.   Make an effort to support and/or participate in community projects and events sponsored by Meridian's Promise.

We want to recognize the efforts of you and your organization.

We want to support your collaborative efforts.

We want to offer you resources of all kinds, including financial, human, expertise, visibility, and more.

We want to help you champion a positive youth culture in the City of Meridian and throughout the Treasure Valley.
