The Finance Department is the general business management arm of City government, providing specific financial and accounting services for elected officials, City employees, and the citizens of Meridian.

Basic services include:

• Budgeting
• Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Utility Billing
• Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Payroll
• Monitoring State and City Rules and Regulations
• Maintenance of Sound Internal Controls
