Engineering

The Engineering Division consists of technical and administrative staff that work collaboratively to plan, design, build, map, and provide operational support for the Public Works infrastructure required to meet the needs of our growing community. The work of the Engineering Division is guided by aligning efforts with the City of Meridian and the Public Works Department Mission and Vision. Through master planning and the development of a five-year Capital Improvement Plan the Engineering Division is able to prioritize and build water and sewer infrastructure in a financially responsible manner. The Engineering Division provides technical assistance to achieve Meridian’s vision of transportation facilities and ensure minimal inconvenience to the traveling public. The Engineering Division often works jointly with other municipalities, agencies, developers and consultants in completing infrastructure projects that improve the quality of life for the citizens of Meridian.
